Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Alphonso Davies became the player of week 15 in the MLS after the great performance last weekend of the Canadian team against Orlando City. Davies, just 17 years old, had the best performance of his career so far at a professional level.
In the 5-2 win over Orlando City, Davies was a key factor for the Whitecaps to get a comfortable victory and thus reach 23 units in the MLS Western Conference, the Ghanaian-born midfielder assisted with three assists, with whom he became the youngest player in league history to record three passes for a goal in the same game.
In this way Alphonso Davies climbed positions in the fight to become the best attendant of the current season reaching the third place with 7 passes for goal. It is only surpassed by Alejandro Romero and Mauro Díaz, who have 9 and 8 assists respectively.
