Bernd Leno, goalkeeper of Bayer Leverkusen, would be very close to signing for Arsenal. The 26-year-old goalkeeper would have practically a closed agreement to head to London. The German will arrive to replace the veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech who will turn 36 next month.
According to what the Sport Bild newspaper publishes, the signing could be closed at 22 million pounds (24 million euros) and the official announcement would be given shortly. Leno, who was not called with the senior team to go to the World Cup, has played 6 games with the “Mannschaft” and 304 with Bayer Leverkusen.
