Brazilian teens send Real Madrid top of La Liga

Los Blancos moved to the top of the La Liga table after defeating newly-promoted Osasuna 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

Real Madrid continued their unbeaten start to the La Liga season claiming a home victory thanks to goals from two teenage Brazilian sensations, Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Junior.

The 19-year-old Vinicius Junior netted his first goal of the season in the first half, while the 18-year-old Rodrygo marked his Real Madrid debut by scoring only 95 seconds after coming off the bench in the second half.

The teenage Brazilian duo put Real Madrid in first place with 14 points from six matches. Zinedine Zidane's side has one point more than second-place Atleti.

The boys from Brazil have also ended Osasuna’s perfect start to the season, dropping to 12th place.

What’s next?

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid face each other in the Madrid derby at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Saturday, while Osasuna travel to Levante the next day.
