Vidal leaves the concentration of Bayern to sign for Barça

2018 Aug 3

The Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal left prematurely the pre-season concentration of Bayern Munich next to the Tegern lake, in Bavaria, in the midst of insistent rumors that place him close to signing for Barcelona. According to information from the German sports portal Sport1, the player left in a van the place where his teammates train.

He went to the hotel where the squad was staying during the preparatory rally of tomorrow's game against Manchester United and, early in the afternoon, left the establishment in the company of the Bayern sports director, Hasan Salihamidziz, apparently to finalize the details of the operation with the Spanish club.

The aforementioned means alludes to the many rumors according to which Barcelona could announce today the signing of Vidal, for which a pass was estimated estimated at 30 million euros.

The British newspaper "The Guardian" had reported, meanwhile, that Vidal had already passed a medical review in Barcelona.

Vidal, 31, was already yesterday in the concentration of Bayern in that Bavarian town, with training open to fans of the staff.

The Chilean midfielder arrived at Bayern Munich in 2015, coming from Juventus of Turin, and after having already been in the German Bundesliga, with Bayer Leverkusen, between 2007 and 2011.

The last season of Vidal was marked by the casualties, including the one derived from a serious knee injury, which made intervention necessary.
