Real Madrid have completed the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic on six-year contract. The young Serb said his dream has come true after leaving Eintracht Frankfurt for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Luka Jovic has the potential to thrive at the Bernabeu as the 21-year-old is one of the biggest talents in European football having a record of 27 goals in just 48 games this season. Jovic has been in sensational form and has been turning heads all season long thanks to standout performances in both the Bundesliga and the club's Europa League campaign.

“Real Madrid CF and Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed the transfer of player Luka Jovic, subject to medical. The player will be tied to the club for the next seasons, until the 30th of June, 2025.” the LaLiga club announced on their website.

Luka Jovic is a goalscorer who can help out Karim Benzema and is seen by Zidane as a possible partner for the French striker, as the Serbian is a great finisher.

With Eder Militao and Rodrygo already signed and Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy on the way, Los Blancos has started great the summer.

The German club also confirmed the Serbian striker is joining Zinedine Zidane's side this summer expressing their sadness.

“Luka Jovic is a big loss for us. His explosiveness and scoring skills have spread throughout Europe and we've benefited not only from his goals over the past two years.”

"It is an important piece of transfer business for Eintracht Frankfurt, and a good one as well. We wish Luka all the very best for the future. He has got everything he needs to have a wonderful career, and we’re proud to have been able to help and support him on his way."

Jovic arrived at Eintracht Frankfurt on a two-year loan deal in 2017 from Benfica before the move was made permanent in April. The Serbian played a decisive role in Bundesliga side Frankfurt’s run to the Europa League semi-finals, where they were only beaten on penalties by eventual winners Chelsea.
